Sucampo’s Amitiza approved for Constipation predominant IBS

The FDA has approved Amitiza for the addtitional indication of irritable bowel syndrome with constipation (IBS-C) in women 18 years of age or older. It was previously launched in the US forchronic idiopathic constipation in 2006
